WW Site Rules
The most important rule: Don’t make us make any more rules! Use common sense and courtesy.
Camping
- No ghost camping is allowed. Those wishing to reserve space for others arriving later may claim land by setting out borders for tents using lathe and rope. Please do not use a ground cloth or tarp if the space is reserved more than 24 hours in advance, as they kill grass. Please do not reserve more space than is necessary, as we all have to share this space.
- The camping area is laid out with designated quiet/loud camping. Please note that this year, we are asking loud camping to be more moderate than in previous years.
- Any large-scale, decorative structures must be approved by the autocrats before construction.
General
- Quiet and Loud camping are segregated as much as possible, but we ask that loud camping be more moderate this year until we can determine the sound effect from the hills and what impact it has on the homes nearby.
- Handicapped and Royalty camping is considered Quiet camping.
- Quiet hours in quiet camping are from 10 pm until 7 am.
- Any complaints concerning noise in quiet camping should be directed to Security.
Quiet and Loud Areas
Water Use and Disposal
- Sump dumps may be dug in campsites provided the dirt and sod divot is replaced before you leave site. Do not leave open holes. Please wrap the sod divot in burlap and keep it moist, or be sure to keep it watered so the sod does not die.
Fires and Fire Safety
- Fires must be in off-the-ground fire containers or "self contained portable" fire places. Ash and cinders, once cold, should be disposed of in the designated dumping area.
- Unattended fires will be extinguished.
- All flames (including candles) must be contained in non-flammable containers.
- A bucket of water or fire extinguisher must be on hand near the fire in case of emergency.
Garbage/Recycling
- There is no trash pick-up in the campground this year. Everyone is responsible for bringing their trash to the dumpsters provided for that purpose.
- Please tie your garbage bags closed. This is a courtesy to all.
- Wisconsin state law requires that cans and bottles be separated for recycling. There are recycling containers available on site. Please place recyclables in the appropriately marked bins.
- Please clean your campsite thoroughly before leaving, including all tobacco related materials.
Pets
- NO pets are allowed on site.
- Service animals as defined by the Americans With Disability Act are allowed, but we ask to be notified before the event so as to avoid any misunderstandings.
- Comfort or Therapy animals are not, for the purposes of this event, service animals.
Radio Use
- Channels 1, 2, and 10-14 are reserved for personal radios.
- Channels 3-9 are reserved for event use only.
Vehicles
- Driving in the park is prohibited except for unloading; vehicles must remain on the designated roads.
- Vehicles must be removed to designated parking. Any vehicle left in the park unattended, not currently being used for loading or unloading, WILL BE TOWED AT OWNER'S EXPENSE.
Miscellaneous
- Generators are not allowed at WW for any reason.
- Smoking is not permitted on the school grounds or in the picnic pavilions. Please do not throw butts on the ground.
