1:00 PM 3:00 PM Archery Clinic/ Class:

Whether you are a new or experienced archer, please come to this exploration of shooting technique.  More experienced archers will give tips and feedback to newer archers, and all can share ideas of what techniques and shooting styles work best for them.   Other archery related topics may also be explored, such as “what makes a good archery event?”  This timeslot will involve both shooting and discussion thereof.

3:00 PM 5:00 PM Naughts and Crosses:

Remember the intense summer games of tic-tac-toe between you and your friends? Now you can relive those glory days...with archery! Come and engage in this age old archery game where three-in-a-row is the goal. Scored using a square-by-square point system where successful shots of three in a row can double your points, it's fun for all levels of archer. Join us for a rousing round or two!

9:00 AM 10:00 AM Open Range/Inspections
10:00 AM NOON Youth Shoot – Animal Hunt:

This shoot is intended for youth archers, and will include shorter ranges.  Targets will be foam animals; a limited number of shots will be taken at each target each round, so archers will learn the skill of changing their aiming point.  A treasure prize will be awarded to the most successful hunter.

1:00 PM 3:00 PM Gary Gygax Memorial Shoot:

Gary Gygax, creator of the roleplaying game Dungeons and Dragons, passed away on March 4th, 2008.  Come remember good times and bad rolls with D&D themed targets.

3:00 PM 5:00 PM Champions' Shoot:

Invitation Shoot.  This shoot is designed to support those who help make archery happen at WW and for those who win individual shoots to face each other on the range.  To gain a slot in this shoot you need to meet one of the following requirements:
*Sponsor a shoot at this years event (remember you don't need to be a marshal to be a sponsor)
*Volunteer to Marshal the archery range for open shoot times or for a sponsored shoot
*Win a sponsored shoot.
A relative test of both speed and accuracy.  The shoot will consist of several targets low to the ground, at various distances, and 3 to 4 archers on the line at a time.  Points are scored for each target knocked over and runs until either all targets are knocked over or archers are out of arrows. (please have 12 arrows ready for this shoot).  A prize will be awarded to the winner of the invitation.
Time permitting, the targets will remain open to all other shooters after the champion has been determined.

Post Court Until it's Done Torchlight Shoot:

Come defend our new Boscobel encampment against the things that go bump in the night.  Archers will get a chance to shoot with varying degrees of target illumination.  We begin the shoot when the light starts to fade.
